George H.W. Bush died Friday at 94. The 41st president — and 43rd vice chairman, and onetime congressman, CIA director, United Nations ambassador, Republican Nationwide Committee chairman, oil tycoon and World Struggle II naval pilot — was additionally father to the 43rd president, George W. Bush. 

The youthful Bush in a press release Friday remembered Bush Sr. as “a person of the very best character and the perfect dad a son or daughter may ask for.”
