Gordon contributes more to their rehabilitation than the prison system ever did. It's nice to see him getting in the kitchen with them and not just funding this program for publicity or profit. Shows he actually cares about what happens with them.

  • ghostcar on March 22, 2016

I watch his shows and his pursuit of perfection and getting it right and have been inspired for sure. Ramsay is like this invisible coach in my mind. For sure the world is a better place with him striving and motivating others be the best.

normally i dont really see the good im things, and only look for things to complain about. but this is just wonderful
like i dont know anything about what it is like being a prisoner, but i know getting a job whilst you have a criminal record is not easy. its just amazing to see these people actually develop something they care about, something they can commit themselves to, and even better something they can look to in the future.

coming from a miserable sod like me, that is pretty impressive.

like Gordon gets a lot of shit, and most of the stuff you see of him is his outbursts (especially on things like kitchen nightmares) , but how can someone watch this and not see how he is actually a really nice and respectable man. like you woulndt see me doing this kind of stuff ever.

  • GOrDoN ReMseY on May 3, 2017

As great as this is I'm still kind of 50/50 I mean I know that these are great guys who look like they'll change but not everyone in a prison is like that.
Either way looks like a great idea.

This is great. Lol. He can train for cheap and still have money from a show. He collects income from what criminals make in prison. Gives them hope. And he gets to repeat. He is the new dealer lol. Genius. Notice he never yells at a prisoner.

  • alicecapone on January 8, 2018

He he, reminds me back years ago Gordon was declining at first to pay the "lawyers and court" fee when his brother got busted for drugs in Bali.
Its ashame he got out and never made himself better person. Should let him rotten there for few years, and mignht teach him few lesson.
Gordon Ramsey isnt just a big mouth chef but the man does trully has a big heart. ❤ him and his big size 15 feet 😉😋😁

  • Gabriel Barnea on February 23, 2018

Hahaha ,you people really think they changed in any way ? :)) that was only a way to get out of the cage , spending
time in kitchen is better than in a cell.

I love how everyone has a story…Prisoners are people too, they should be treated like a normal human being.

  • Jay DR on December 2, 2018

I hope Gordon Ramsay can bring this to the US together with the prison reform that is coming to the Forefront

  • Onkel B on February 10, 2019

Aren't many kitchens notorious for cooks being on drugs? Don't know if Gordon's restaurants go for that but generally that might not be the best environment for a recovering addict.

  • Gnasher on June 18, 2019

It's true you need to find a new habit something healthy and time consuming, instead of sitting about with the wrong crowd

  • Aly Badry on June 20, 2019

But what happened to David and Hassan ?

  • danielamin on June 21, 2019

Nobody gets addicted to heroin because everything is going great. Give people something to be happy about and they have a good chance of kicking a habit.

  • Sabrina Chang on September 9, 2019

they need a chance and an understanding of their value in the (quite messed up) world

Drugs are not recreational, how do we convey to young people that drugs are not fun, they are not a symbol of freedom, you will be enslaved and destroyed.

  • Tom Ace on April 23, 2021

Hassan has twin girls everybody. Give him a clap.

  • Fernanda David on April 26, 2021

Drugs taking everyone s life away, from the user , the family , friends, yet so easy to buy drugs in uk

  • Fugazy on August 19, 2021

As we all know most of prison systems around the world are broken. We lock up criminals and take their rights away but we turn our heads around because they are criminals and we say “they deserve it”. In reality it is just a loop because once a prisoner goes into the real world they have to go back to what they know best in order to survive. Is that really fighting crime? Most prisons don’t offer hope, skill, knowledge or even therapy. If we change the prison system the prisoners can go back into the real world after serving their time and actually change for the better. Instead of depriving the people that need help the most in society lets help them become better members of our civilized world.
