To make Belgian waffles, combine water, sugar, and yeast in a mixing bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes. In the meantime, mix flour, the rest of the sugar, and lukewarm milk in a large mixing bowl. Once those ingredients are combined, add the yeast mixture, melted butter, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and egg yolks.
