Looks delicious and very informative. I will try this today! On another note, very sorry, but I am not a fan of painted nails in food preparation; we don't allow our culinary students to do this or to wear any jewelry, but hey, your kitchen, your rules!

I wonder how many white people are amazed by the simple concept of pupusas

ATTENTION: Based on the tenor of a large proportion of the YouTube comments, due to the fact that he used measuring devices such as an ice cream scoop and a measuring cup to portion out his ingredients, THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

In fact, he can’t even technically call himself a Latino anymore.

  • Felipe Brockveld on February 14, 2020

Rick, here in Brazil we call it “Tutu”

5:54 Molly, you are blessed with divine hair.

THATS A DISGRACE. Would not recommend making them this way, search a real pupusa video. This one was not. Dry pupusa and the red sauce oh lawd no. I’m out

  • Emchammer on February 14, 2020

I love pupusas so much. When I was a mere child I ignorantly thought that pupusas were a Mexican food (as a Mexican I thought most things made by people who look like me were Mexican), but obviously I have grown to appreciate my Latino brethren. Salvadorean tamales are pretty baller too.

    "Fried Corn Fritters" FFS BA…

  • Sewalways on February 14, 2020

Number one, it’s not a fritter.fritters are fried, more of a dumpling.
Pupusas are cooked on a griddle. If you must call them something
other than pupusas, then grilled, stuffed tortillas may be more accurate.
Two, you didn’t develop the recipe !
Three, the salsa Rojas is loose and liquids. It’s not thick and dry as
it appears . The curtido should be picked for at least several days.
Lastly, it’s my pet peeve, but the blue nail polish is very distracting.
    That’s a personal thing.
The end result appears good. It’s the accurate description of the
Product that’s off and the Sosa, totally wrong.

    Fried Corn Fritter??? hehe
"Fried" is aleady in the word Fritter 🙂

I love papusas. they are an excellent vehicle for my blueberry beef with toasted cashews and bluebroccoli sauce. I add fresh herbs to my papusas though…
