The USA was a truly great idea……………….but it's broken now.

    Hahaha

  • bellamoon on February 13, 2019

Trump is claiming that repairs and concertina wire enhancements to the existing barriers are "building the wall". That's all there is to it. The media just needs to say that and move on. Everyone knows Trump is a liar, even those on the right who are financially benefiting from yet another corrupt GOP administration.

The USA is an orwellian dystopia.

  • Koen Dekoning on February 13, 2019

Maybe the 4th of July thing is a ploy so he can claim insanity later in court. I'm kinda kidding.

  • trollbot east on February 13, 2019

Geesh, same old robber barons, they just stopped wearing top hats and mustaches, and stopped snapping their buggy whips at pesky muckraking journalists. Trump, making America 1870 again.

We seem to be setting the precedent that there is no logical reason a President would ever be impeached. I mean, if Donald Trump were dead, he'd be doing better by the people than what he's doing right now, and death is as serious a health concern to remove the President from office as they come.

  • Frank Winkhorst on February 13, 2019

One word: Alzheimer's, which shall be known from this day forth as Trumpsky's Disease.

  • alsoulmusic on February 13, 2019

Unfortunately, this started long before Trump. The problem is that some politicians display some level of shame. Since our system allowed this sort of bribery all ready it was just a matter of time before someone came along and flaunted it openly. He is showing the system for what it is: Corrupt.

Here's an easy solution to this entire mess. Invoke the 25th Amendment because it's obvious he's either senile, a psychopath, the most irresponsible person on Earth or ALL OF THE ABOVE!

  • debbie duccini-day on February 13, 2019

    The Emporer's New Clothes..

  • Francisco Galvan on February 13, 2019

Every time she says "fourth of July", I want to punch Rachel in the mouth.

Is it that hard to say Independence Day?
I mean, you wouldn't call Halloween the 31st of October. Or Christmas the 25th of December. Fools have been saying 4th of july for so long, that some American's have no idea wtf we're even celebrating anymore.

  • gymkhanadog on February 13, 2019

It went into someone's pocket, that's clear. that's all Trump has been trying to do this entire presidency is get richer and make his rich friends richer. We've seen it as subtly as the inauguration here or as overtly as the tax cut for the rich.

  • mw izzie on February 13, 2019

    Yikes guys lol

  • CorndogMaker on February 13, 2019

This is really missing the mark. Yes I don't think it's good for campaign donors to dictate a list of policies to presidents. That is, typically, the definition of a bought government- But these policies are also what Trump was elected on.

He proudly touts deregulation, keeping jobs in antiquated technologies and keeping failing coal plants opened as accomplishments of his administration- because that's what Trump voters voted for.

They see their jobs and livlihood becoming irrelivant and they want to live in the deregulated, coal powered dreamland that Trump imagines. He can "own up" to that scandal, because its what trumpers want, not just what the coal barron donors want.

This doesn't even understand the other side and just sees it as a baffling shocker.

I can't wait for John Oliver's update on Muray Energy.
