CHARLESTON, S.C. – A South Carolina man whose spouse disappeared has been sentenced to 10 years in jail for deceptive investigators.
The Put up and Courier reported Thursday that 47-year-old Bob McCaffrey was convicted of obstruction of justice final week. McCaffrey instructed investigators in 2012 that he returned residence from visiting his mistress one night time and located a word saying his spouse Gayle had left him for one more man. Authorities later decided that McCaffrey wrote the word himself.
Authorities mentioned Gayle McCaffrey knew about his affair, and it successfully ended when she confronted the lady, who testified that he saved making an attempt to pursue her.
Folks near Gayle McCaffrey testified that she was making an attempt to restore her marriage earlier than she vanished. Her physique hasn’t been discovered.
