The chain steakhouse restaurants like outback, black Angus, longhorn, ECT ECT are just fast-food with slightly nicer dinning area. If cost is a real concern of yours you should just cook at home. If cost isn't an issue, go to a real steakhouse.

The chains like Outback, Longhorns, etc are having a problem because their prices continue to go up while the quality of the steak they serve goes down. Local steakhouses even though their prices are higher than chains are thriving because customers are willing to pay more for a quality meal prepared correctly and served in a nice atmosphere.
