Peter Lugar Steak House DOES NOT accept any credit card. They only accept Cash. The government (IRS) HAS NO PAPER TRAIL. Smart way to manipulate Income Tax. They probably have shoe boxes of cash.

  • Kevin Keithley on February 16, 2020

PASS. Over rated, over priced and better choices avail.
Wine glasses alone tell you PL’s doesn’t know much.
Empire in midtown better and Old Homestead too.
Fact is NYC doesn’t compare to most other major US cities in steakhouses and can’t match cities like Dayton (Pine Club) or San Francisco (House of Prime Rib) or Traildust in Denver.

  • dojufitz on February 16, 2020

The Vice President has no charisma…..get anyone but him to hype the joint.

  • NQ on February 16, 2020

Is this real good or just another touristy trap where the restaurant has passed its prime?

  • Mike Greensmith on February 16, 2020

They keep how long they dry age the steaks a secret but I'm guessing it's about 3 months cause most steakhouses do 1-2 months at most

  • Mep Mep on February 16, 2020

Too bad the service is the worst out of every restaurant in the city!
